I graduated with a Master in Social Work from UBC and I am registered with the BC College of Social Workers. I work currently as a Social Work Professional Practice Lead at the Burnaby Centre for Mental Health and Addiction, with Provincial Health Services Authority, where I offer individual and group therapy for people with concurrent disorders. I also offer practice supervision for a team of social work professionals. I have acted as a Chair for the BC Mental Health and Substance Use Services Ethics Committee. In previous settings, I have worked alongside adults living with brain injuries, a therapist for men coping with identity changes and I coordinated a drop-in space for youth in crisis.
